The plan has changed
“He’s awake” said Samantha.
The shirtless injured Spencer comes towards the Ferocious.
Spencer all of a sudden punches Mason. Mason spits out the blood.
“Brother…” reacts Raven.
Mason keeps looking at Spencer in a serious way.
“You were here all the time, weren’t you?” Spencer began, “Your fellow soldiers were dying! They were fighting for their lives and you damn invincible… you… you were here all the time! Give me one reason to believe that you’re not a traitor! Why these monsters even saved you!? Who are you!?”
“We, monsters, saved you too” Samantha began, “Mason was covered in blood. We found him injured and took him in. According to our grandfather Harry, Mason is a son of a special guy. If we’ve delayed the treatment any further, there are chances that Mason would have been dead by now”.
“I… I don’t believe this shit! If that’s so… Prove it!” said Spencer.
Akasuki goes ahead to fight Spencer but Mason blocks his way through his hand.
“Mason?” said the confused Akasuki.
“That’s right. I was safe and secure this morning, yet I didn’t take any actions. Spencer… You think of me as a traitor, right? So be it. But, that doesn’t mean I was careless of you all. Certainly, I have nothing to prove. Whatever you think I’ll accept it” said Mason.
“Wh-What can I say? I’ll take your word… but… first tell me you’re not supporting these devils” said Spencer.
“Certainly, I am” said Mason.
“That settles it. Remember, you were the one who said you’re not a traitor” said Spencer.
“I never said I’m not a traitor” as Mason says it, everyone becomes serious and angry, “If that makes me a traitor, I’ll be a traitor. Anyone who goes against this peace, have to go through me first”.
Raven with tears comes towards Mason.
“I trusted you” said she.
Akasuki comes in between with anger in his eyes.
“Get away” said Akasuki.
The silent Sia stays with Mason and says nothing.
Spencer picks up his T-shirt and leaves, Natalya follows along.
“We’ve been together for a long time, haven’t we?” said James with a tear in his eye, “I think it’s time for goodbye Mason. Sorry if I hurt you, but, I’ll not be the one to see Tireworld burn to ashes after all I’ve been through”.
“Farewell, Mason” said Sam to Mason.
James and Sam leave the area…..
“Let’s go” said Mason.
“I hate to say this, but, I think I’ll follow along” said Natalya.
“For Akasuki?” asked Mason.
“Ho-How do you know?” asked Natalya.
“Do you think I’m that foolish?” said Mason.
“It’s nothing like that, ok?” said Natalya.
“I kissed her” said Akasuki all of a sudden.
Everything goes silent for a moment.
Natalya hits Akasuki on the head in embarrassment.
“You dumbass!” screamed Natalya.
“Ah! That hit hard!” said Akasuki.
“Help! Help! Captain Reiss is injured!” said Dawn who appeared all of a sudden.
Sia healed Captain Reiss in a second and everybody was stunned after that.
“We need your help. Tyson is too powerful; we fought with him on the way. You are the only one who can defeat him” said Dawn to Mason.
“What? Where? When?” asked James.
“You don’t talk to me!” said Dawn who was still angry with James.
“He let Captain Reiss live, didn’t he?” asked Mason.
“Yes… how did you…”
“He’s planning something. I know what he’s after. Tyson is thinking beyond ordinary. He’s planning to rule the Tireworld” said Mason.
“Your majesty! Do you read me!?” said Captain Reiss who was on walkie-talkie with King Walter.
“Yes… What’s the news?” asked King Walter.
“We’re safe and secure. But, we haven’t received any signal from Commander Smith. The good news is, we’ve found Mason”.
“Good! Tell him to destroy the castle of the invincibles! The antidote must be inside of it” said King Walter.
“But that’ll destroy the antidote” said Captain Reiss.
“So be it. Plan’s changed” said King Walter.
Captain Reiss comes towards Mason who was on a high land enjoying the view of the land of the invincibles.
“Hey invincible!” said Captain Reiss.
“You won’t ever stop calling me that, will you?” said Mason.
“Do not forget, we’re on a mission. Therefore, I want you to be prepared for the upcoming challenges” said Captain Reiss.
“Tell me captain, why did you choose to be a soldier?” asked Mason.
Captain Reiss became silent all of a sudden.
“Why did I choose to be a soldier?” Captain Reiss began, “I took birth on a rotten village away from the capital. All I could see was people dying. Some for diseases, some for money and some used to die for wars. My parents were very poor. Dad was a drunken man and my mom… my mom… I would like to keep that to myself. I held a grudge I’ll make my parents and these people happy. I held a grudge that I’ll make wars stop. I held a grudge that I’ll make people live happily. Days passed and my parents too. The things they used to do, wasn’t impossible to believe were the reasons they died. I still moved on. I learned martial arts. I wasn’t a royal blood, fighting wasn’t in my blood.
I kept going. I couldn’t see people dying anymore. I moved to the capital. In fact, I was a nobody. One day, fighting with criminals, I was spotted by Commander Smith. Either you call it luck or something else, I don’t care, but that’s the only reason I’m here now.
As I was growing up, I came to know, the road to victory isn’t straight. You have to be a little devil. I didn’t regretted my decisions since then”.
“I see. You never answer my questions. I’m amazed to see you did, at least for once” said Mason.
Dawn, Sia, Natalya and Akasuki came all of a sudden.
“King Walter ordered you to destroy the castle” said Captain Reiss to Mason.
“I would have obeyed him…” said Mason, everybody became serious after that, “… if he was the real king”.
Captain Reiss had a scared and shocking look on Mason.
